Pokémon Heart Gold and Soul Silver are slated for U.S. release in Spring 2010!

YEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSS!!!!

I have literally been waiting years for them to do a remake of Gold and Silver like they did for Red and Blue. GSC is my absolute favorite generation, and I can't wait to be able to play it with updated graphics and features!

Pokémon's just been one of those games that I've never gotten tired of, you know? I fell in love the year it came out, and I haven't looked back. I was into the cartoons for a couple years and I still have my card collection, but the games have always been my all-time favorites of gaming.

So far the only gen I haven't played yet is Diamond/Pearl... mostly because I don't have a DS yet. However, now that they've come out with that new DS with the camera on it the price of the original console has gone down quite a bit, so I can probably get it used for about $80. I'm also reluctant to play D/P because I strongly dislike the newest gen's designs. I find most of them silly or way too close to earlier gen to really catch my interest. Then again, there are so many more features, plus the wireless capability, so I'll buckle down eventually and get a copy.
